Whether or not they gladly accept these abilities, however, depends on how the individual reacted mentally to the transformation.
As for Emrys, he's not too upset with being a crocodile monster, since he was an introverted biological illustrator to begin with. He is rather frustrated with his hands, however, since holding a pencil is much more difficult with his thick claws. He's also rather upset with Adella, obviously, after having tricked him into the splicing. :y
